Sunday, 10-18-15, we went to Apple Hill. It was a blast! We ate apples, tomatoes, Asian pairs, apple crisp, drank apple cider, and had spiral cut apples. Here is a picture of me and my friend, Shelby, eating fruit.
We stopped at a petting zoo to feed the animals. We found the shop there and got a spiral cut apple. I want to get that gadget!! This is a picture of me feeding an alpaca.
The next, and last, stop that we made was where we got our face painted, ate apple crisp, and met an emu named Winston. We got to pet her. She was soft and squishy. There is sometimes two feathers in one quill. That’s why she was soft and squishy. We bought a cat toy made with her cousin’s feathers. This is us petting her.
We were wearing our costumes and my hat made me look like a hipster.
My assignment is a blog about a family trip to San Francisco. My family and I went there to learn more about it. My favorite things to do there are going to the Aquarium of the Bay, watching the sea lions basking in the sun, and just wandering around.
One of my favorite things to do in San Francisco is to go to the Aquarium of the Bay. We don’t go there often because it is not that cheap. An adult ticket is $19.95 and a child ticket is $12.95. It would cost us $52.85 for our family to go.
I like the aquarium because it has people dressed up as sea creatures on Halloween. The other reason I like the aquarium is because I want to be a marine biologist when I can get a job. This is a great place learn more about marine biology. My favorite creatures there are turtles and seals. I am addicted to the tidal pools because you can make your mom mad by getting wet, and you can touch a sea cucumber.
I like watching the sea lions on Pier 39. This is free so I can stay as long as I want and go any time I want. I like watching them because they are very random and silly. I saw one who almost fell off the dock because he was sleeping on the very edge. A big one jumped up on the dock and nearly knocked him off the dock! We watched a few babies swim with their moms. I stayed there for more than an hour. It’s loud and smells like rotten fish, but it is worth it for the entertainment.
Another free activity to do in San Francisco is to wander around. I like it because I like to shop and see new things. I found a candle shop that makes their own candles. It smelled like Crayola crayons. The people working there told me they were actually made of the same wax Crayola uses. We see street performers. I have seen some playing instruments or playing with puppets. I’ve seen other entertainments but these are my favorite. Another reason I like wandering around is that I can chase the birds.
These are just a few of my favorite things to do in San Francisco. There are lots of other things to do there. We will have to go back soon to discover more of this great city.
oops! I missed this one. I’ll get back to it

Only work with triangles…ok. Here’s my triangle fairy.
Tough one!! Didn’t turn out as well as I had hoped or as badly as I had feared though.
